As the organiser of Richard Dean Anderson's charity autograph programs, some time ago he asked us to assist him in selecting a fan event he could attend. This was prompted by his wish to say 'thank you' to the fans for their support over the years, as well as a desire to promote his charities.

In accepting this role, we have subsequently received several requests from organizers wishing to bring Richard to their event. At the same time, it has come to our attention that in the process of promoting ticket sales, some show organizers have speculated or implied that Richard may be attending their events.

On behalf of Richard, we wish to clarify that he plans to attend just one event this year: the 'Avalon' event in the U.K. with Amanda Tapping in November. If Richard enjoys the experience of Avalon and wishes to attend other events in 2007, then we shall pursue this on his behalf. In the meantime, Richard Dean Anderson has himself issued the following statement to further clarify this:

Should any fan or event organizer have any questions or uncertainty about where Richard may be appearing, please do not hesitate to contact us - we'll be happy to clarify this for you.
