Following his convention appearance in Germany, and after some time for a scenic rest in England, a reunion with Amanda Tapping, (and a haircut), Richard appeared at the Basingstoke Comic Con in Basingstoke, UK.

The weekend included a Question & Answer panel on both Saturday and Sunday, a Meet & Greet session on both days, photo ops with fans, and some very long autograph sessions.

Question & Answer Panels
On Saturday, Richard participated in a Question & Answer panel with Amanda Tapping, and they were later joined by Brad Wright. On Sunday, the trio were joined by Gary Jones for a Stargate SG-1 panel.

Photo Ops
In addition to greeting fans in Meet & Greet sessions, autograph lines, and photo ops, Richard also encountered fans of the four-legged variety. During his panel with Amanda Tapping, he noticed a dog in the audience, and he stepped down from the stage to engage with the pup before leaving the room. During the photo op sessions, Richard was reunited with Monty, a service dog whom he had met in Wales in 2019. This time Richard was anxious to pose again with Monty and his partner Avro, and their two humans.
