FREYR

Freyr, a member of the Asgard High Council, protects the planet K'tau in the persona of Lord of the Aesir, the Norse god of sun and rain, ally of Thor, protector, and ruler of the elves who bring good or bad tidings. Through the Hall of Wisdom, SG-1 sought help from Freyr and the Asgard to restore the K'tau sun and to prevent the asteroid collision with Earth, but both requests were denied due to restrictions of the Protected Planets Treaty. However, Freyr requested help from SG-1 in rescuing Heimdall and Thor from the Goa'uld, and in offering backup, his ships forced Anubis to retreat.
