THE COMPANION A.I. TABLE READ

The Companion, a subscription site focusing on science fiction television and movies, in conjunction with Stargate SG-1 creator Brad Wright and Google A.I.'s Laurence Moroney, presented the "World Exclusive Table Read" of the first Stargate script written by artificial intelligence.

The unique script was performed in a "table read" format by Michael Shanks as Daniel Jackson, Amanda Tapping as Samantha Carter, David Hewlett as Rodney McKay, and Jewel Staite as Jennifer Keller. The two-hour broadcast included the virtual premiere as well as a Q&A.

Although Richard did not return as Jack O'Neill for the performance, he did send a brief one-minute pre-recorded video greeting to the team, which Brad Wright shared during the broadcast. Richard's message appeared at about the 30 minute mark.
