The syndicated television show Celebrity Justice carried a story about the seal hunt in Newfoundland and included footage of Richard's visit to Charlottetown with Sea Shepherd in March. In the televised story, Richard is shown on the ice with a baby seal and at a press conference afterward during which he talked about his association with Sea Shepherd and the need to protect the seals.
