NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC EXPLORER
October 15, 2000

National Geographic Explorer set out to explore the magic of Headwall Canyon, a remarkable wilderness 60 miles outside Vancouver. Richard joined Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Kathy Francis, chief of the Klahoose First Nation, and host Boyd Matson for an exploration of North America's last true wilderness. Said Richard of the experience, "It was more than coming home. I never should have left in the first place. This is where I belong."
