Richard returned to Europe for his second convention of the year, Starfury: Ascension in London, UK. There he was joined by several actors from the Stargate franchise, including Michael Shanks, Lexa Doig, Gary Jones, Torri Higginson, David Nykl, Ellie Gall, Nicole de Boer, and Elyse Levesque.

Richard attended the opening and closing ceremonies, and he was available throughout the weekend for autograph sessions and photo ops, both alone and in group photos with the other actors.

The relative small size of the convention also allowed for several personal encounters including a VIP Meet & Greet with all the actors on Friday, an exclusive solo Meet & Greet on Saturday, and a final exclusive Meet & Greet on Sunday with Michael Shanks.

In addition, Richard appeared on stage for two Question & Answer panels, first alone on Saturday, and finally on Sunday with Michael Shanks.

Throughout the weekend Richard also met with fans during Meet & Greet sessions, autograph sessions, and photo ops. Unfortunately, the photo sessions were infiltrated by Replicators.
