Richard continued his travels in Europe as he returned to Germany for FedCon XXXIII, held at the Maritim Hotel in Bonn. The convention also welcomed a number of guest stars from the world of scifi, including Stargate alumni Brad Wright, Michael Shanks, Lexa Doig, Gary Jones, Tom McBeath, David DeLuise, Torri Higginson and Sam Jones.

Richard attended the opening ceremony on Friday, and he was available throughout the weekend for autograph sessions and photo ops, both alone and in group photos with the other actors.

The convention also included private Meet & Greet sessions on Friday and Saturday as well as a solo Question & Answer panel on Friday and a Stargate panel on Sunday that included Brad Wright, Michael Shanks, Lexa Doig, Tom McBeath, and David DeLuise.

Unfortunately, Richard was feeling under the weather as the convention drew to a close, so he was not able to attend the closing ceremony.

Friday Opening Ceremony
Richard joined the other guest stars on stage for the opening ceremony on Friday evening. A hand-held fan helped to ease the heat of the venue.

Friday Question & Answer Panel
Richard participated in a solo Question & Answer panel on Friday evening, taking questions from the audience. David DeLuise appeared briefly on stage with him, bringing a video message from his brother, Stargate writer, director, and producer, Peter DeLuise, which curiously played upside down.

Sunday Question & Answer Panel
Richard was joined on stage by Brad Wright, Michael Shanks, Lexa Doig, Tom McBeath, and David DeLuise for a Stargate Question & Answer panel on Sunday.

Autograph and Photo Sessions
Throughout the weekend Richard also met with fans during Meet & Greet sessions, autograph sessions, and photo ops.
