THORAN
Councilor Thoran is a Tok'ra who had been a close and loyal friend of Kanan. When O'Neill faced death from the virus contracted from Ayiana, Thoran presented the option of allowing the symbiote, Kanan, to heal O'Neill by taking him as a temporary host. Thoran returned later with the news that Kanan, in O'Neill's body, was missing and presumed dead, and Thoran was detained at the SGC until he agreed to release Kanan's mission reports and to cooperate in the effort to rescue O'Neill.
