ION PROPULSION ENGINE

Warrick Finn's ship, the Seberus, is powered by technologically advanced engines that use liquid nitrogen to fuel an ion propulsion system. Despite the superior technology, Carter was able to affect repairs to the ship after it had crashed on P2X-005. Warrick later returned to the SGC to offer full access to the ion propulsion technology in exchange for Carter's help in winning the space race known as the Loop of Kon Garat. In addition to gaining insight into the technology, Carter was also able to enhance the performance and improve the efficiency of the engine by supplementing it with power from a naquadah generator.
