SKAARA

Skaara, the son of Kasuf and the brother of Sha're, befriended Colonel O'Neill during the first mission to Abydos, and he participated in the defeat of Ra. He was captured by Apophis and made a host for his Goa'uld son, Klorel. As Apophis and Klorel prepared to attack Earth, O'Neill was forced to kill Skaara to save Daniel from Klorel's ribbon device, but he was revived again in the sarcophagus and escaped the destruction of Apophis's ships through an onboard stargate.

When Klorel fled from Heru'ur and crashed on Tollana, Skaara emerged and pleaded for sanctuary. By the decision of the Tollan triad, Skaara was freed from the Goa'uld, and Klorel was removed from the host by the Tok'ra. Skaara returned to his life on Abydos, however, when Anubis attacked the planet, Skaara was fatally wounded by a staff weapon in the battle for Abydos. He and the other Abydonians were ascended by Oma Desala, and they now continue their lives on a higher plane of existence.
