JOHN PRIOR

John Prior acted as President Hayes's advance man who came to the SGC to meet with newly promoted General O'Neill in preparation for the President's first visit to the base. Although O'Neill reminded him that the SGC is the most secure military facility on the face of the planet, Prior insisted that there were still a number of issues which needed to be addressed, including the selection of the bunting for the ceremony and the menu items for the buffet. Prior was prepared to cancel the President's visit when O'Neill was faced with the loss of his flagship team and an alien plant that had invaded the facility and caused all the main power systems to shut down, however O'Neill convinced him to wait one more day, and when the crises were resolved, the President's visit went off on schedule.
