NANITES

Nanites are microscopic nano-processors developed on Orban 49 years ago. All Orbanians have them within their bodies as a means of acquiring knowledge. Selected children are injected with millions of nanites at birth, enabling them to learn vast amounts of information very quickly. At age 12, an averium is performed in which the nanites are removed and injected into the general population, allowing the knowledge to be passed on.
