MERRIN

Merrin, an 11 year old urrone girl from Orban, acquired knowledge through millions of nanites in her brain. Highly intelligent, she taught Carter the technology to build Earth's first naquadah reactor, and in exchange she learned of Earth's culture, including the concept of school. She chose to return to Orban despite O'Neill's objections and underwent the averium in which she lost her knowledge as it was passed on to her people through her nanites. However, her experiences on Earth passed on an appreciation of teaching and learning, allowing other past-urrone children to learn without the benefit of nanites.
