One of six MacGruber skits that originally aired on Saturday Night Live became an addition to Pepsi's lineup for advertising during the Super Bowl. Richard wore a brown mullet wig and recreated his MacGyver character to Will Forte's MacGruber, who announced that he had changed his name to Pepsuber. The 60-second commercial aired during the fourth quarter of Super Bowl XLIII.
