Just wanted friends here to know - Jerseycoconut, Irene, has passed away.

She had had cancer and had major cancer surgery in February but it took her quickly,

She will be missed.

Sad news
Can not believe it.
She was such a lovely person
She had become a real friend since we worked together on the RDA coloring book. It was her idea and we enjoyed it so much. Her pictures were really good, creatively implemented.
She sent me a picture of an oil painting she painted. Wow, she was so talented.
I knew she wasn't doing well lately, but I wasn't expecting news like this
I lost my dad two weeks ago I am emotionally affected by it, that makes me cry again.
What a bad, bad year.

Very sad news She met RDA at a con in Raleigh dressed in a Nox costume . Thanks for posting her beautiful ,colorful and inventive pics again , J . She painted faces so well ! We had exchanged a few PMS because she wanted to know about my 'texture technique' as you can see on this pic . She was a very sweet person. Rest in peace, Irene .

Yes, Irene and I met at the Galaxy Con in Raleigh in July of 2019.....where we both met RDA and Kate.

She was a very kind person with a great sense of humor and wonderful artistic abilities.

She will be missed.
