I finally got tired of waiting and posted an update.

RDA had been trying to let me know in advance when he had booked an appearance, and then I would work either with him or the convention organizers to coordinate what date the announcement would be made.

This time, the announcement came before RDA had confirmed it, so I reached out to make sure it was okay to go ahead and post it. His reply made it clear that his appearance had NOT been confirmed, and so I had no choice but to wait a bit to give them all time to work it out and finalize the details. Five days should have been enough to hear back SOMETHING.

Bottom line: I think it is likely that RDA will be appearing there, but I am unwilling to take the responsibility of posting it as a certainty in case something changes. So, for now, all I can do is post the most recent information I have, and I will add to it once I get some sort of confirmation one way or the other.
