There are several dozen Facebook pages in the name of Richard Dean Anderson, and on a number of these pages, the owner attempts to deceive fans by posting messages as Richard. One of the biggest of these pages even used a fake verification icon to fool thousands of followers. When Richard learned what was going on at Facebook, he was very disturbed by these fraudulent imposters deliberately duping fans in his name. To set the record straight, Richard sent a video message to all his fans, making it very clear that he does NOT use Facebook.
