Lt. Colonel Samuels returned to SGC by order of the Joint Chiefs, at the request of Senator Kinsey, to coordinate with the Pentagon for a pre-emptive strike.
Goa'uld shock grenades cause extreme pain, unconsciousness and temporary blindness.
"Goa'uld Buster" prototype weapon developed at Area 51 under Col. Samuels and Col. Maybourne, uses a Mark 12A warhead, enriched by naquadah brought back by an SG-5 mission, and yields in excess of 1000 megatons, to be launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base.
Goa'uld attack vessels are equipped with defense shields capable of withstanding 1000 megaton warheads.
Earth refugees were sent through the stargate to P3X-984 Alpha Site (Beta Site in the alternate reality)
Among the Goa'uld, a pharoah's power is more often challenged by his sons than his enemies, a fact which Bra'tac can use to lead his wing against Apophis in Klorel's name.
A sarcophagus can revive the dead.
Once the Goa'uld ship was close enough to Earth, the stargate could be activated by using the Earth point of origin.
SG-1 and the death gliders were recovered by the shuttle Endeavor.

The Nasyans are peaceful, and were anxious to aid in forming an SGC research outpost.
The Goa'uld had not interfered on Nasya for over 300 years when they were suddenly attacked without warning by a mother ship searching for Jolinar.
SGC rescued 237 Nasyans and treated them at the SGC infirmary and the Air Force Academy Hospital, awaiting relocation.
Cassandra still has traces of naquadah in her blood that may enable her to sense a Goa'uld.
It is possible, though difficult, for a Goa'uld to leave a host to seek another without killing it.
The Tok'ra, known in forbidden Jaffa legend, are an alliance of Goa'uld resistance who oppose the System Lords. They take human hosts who are about to die and who choose to coexist in a truly symbiotic relationship.
Jolinar of Malkshur once tried to overthrow a System Lord but was defeated when Apophis joined the battle, and escaped during the slaughter of his armies.
Jolinar says he knows where Sha're is.
The Ashrak, or "Hunter", is an assassin of the highest rank, trained in the ways of the Goa'uld, who carries out the orders of the System Lords (by the power of the Hara Kash.)

Taldor means "justice".
The Taldor is the judicial body that controlled island states that were at war when the Destroyer of Worlds brought a plague that wiped out half the population.
SG-1 was sentenced to life in prison on Hadante for trespassing with weapons on ancient grounds and aiding a murderer.
Hadante used to support life. The prison is the ruin of an alien gate terminal over 15,000 years old.
SG-3 under Major Warren was sent on a rescue mission to recover SG-1.
SG-9 under Major Stan Kovacek handles diplomatic problems and was sent to negotiate with the Taldor.
O'Neill implies previous experience as a prisoner.
This is General Hammond's first trip through the stargate.
SG-1 escaped to P2A-509 to rendezvous with SG-3.
Linea's activators interact with the tare root to create organically based cold fusion.

NOTES OF INTEREST:

The planet was destroyed by a chemical disaster as a result of advancing technology 1022 years ago, and rendered uninhabitable. The surviving residents placed themselves in suspended animation and have survived since then as the planet regenerated itself.
The devices nourish and stimulate the senses, and channel experience and imagination into and out of the mind. They leave small puncture wounds in the temples, spinal cord and several abdominal areas.
Teal'c and Carter were protected from output by the device, perhaps because of the influence of the Goa'uld symbiote and of Jolinar.
In 1982 Operation East Fly was a mission to retrieve a Russian agent named Boris from a house in East Germany. Members of the team included Captain O'Neill and Captain Kawalsky, under the command of Colonel John Michaels who was killed in action by snipers. Teal'c was seen as "Thomas", a member of the team.
Daniel's parents, Dr. Melburn and Claire Jackson, were crushed to death by an exhibit in a freak accident at the New York Museum of Art when Daniel was a young child.
The Goa'uld have experimented with time manipulation for years.
Kawalsky used to play street hockey with O'Neill.

NOTES OF INTEREST:

Raw naquadah is highly valued among the Goa'uld. Samples of the element were brought back to Earth because of its countless potential military and scientific applications.
Pyrus the God-Slayer became the ruler of the planet when he killed the Goa'uld who had ruled there 700 years ago. His people continue to imitate the ways of the Goa'uld to avoid detection.
The sarcophagus can sustain and extend human life, but repeated use causes addiction. Daniel used it 9 or 10 times resulting in a narcotic effect, increasing adrenaline, endorphin, and hormone levels and causing physical withdrawal.
The Tok'ra don't use the sarcophagus because of the side effects. It changes the mind and takes away "kalach" - one's soul.
Since the experience with Jolinar, Carter can share some of Jolinar's memories and sense the presence of a Goa'uld.
O'Neill implies experience with addiction.

NOTES OF INTEREST:

Traces of radioactive iridium from the Sagan Institute box leave a recognizable signature allowing it to be identified as having come from Cimmeria.
Cimmeria was safe from Goa'uld attack for thousands of years until the Hammer was destroyed and the Goa'uld ("Etins") were able to return. More than half the population was killed including Gairwyn's husband and his brothers, and Kendra.
Ragnarok: The Norse Armageddon
The pyramids are landing pedestals for the ha'tak, Goa'uld pyramid mother ships.
Because of Jolinar, Carter retains partial ability to use Goa'uld technology like the ribbon device. SG-1 kept Kendra's ribbon device and healing device.
Ancient tales tell of a Hall of Thor's Might in which he placed all of his powers for protection and defense.
Heru'ur, or Horus the Elder, is the son of Ra and of Hathor, a powerful System Lord and much feared conqueror. Horus guards serve the family of Ra.
Jackson implies a fear of heights.
The Riddle of the Runes:

Runes were ideographic, later representing letters and numbers. These represent:
- Thor's protective power, perhaps Thor's Hammer, and the number 3
- A dice cup or fate, and the number 14
- A horse or movement, and the number 15
- A wagon or Thor's Chariot, and the number 9
Solution to the Riddle of the Runes:
The numbers 3-14-15-9 represent 3.14159 or pi, to be depicted on the geometric circle, proving sufficient wisdom to see the Asgards in their true form.
Thor is really the Supreme Commander of the Asgard fleet, communicating from his quarters aboard the Asgard ship the Biliskner. The Asgards resemble a Roswell gray, and are a species who have visited Earth often. They are friend to all, protector of all, except the Goa'uld, with whom they are at war.
An Asgard teacher will remain behind on Cimmeria, and the new Hammer will be adjusted to make an exception for Teal'c.

Tal mak: Jaffa term for a world that once supported life that is now extinct
Millennia ago, P5C-353 was dying. The organisms created the orb where they slept for 100,000 years, waiting for someone to take them through the stargate. Once exposed to the atmosphere of a living world, they went forth and multiplied. So it was written on the orb.
The orb is made from several unknown materials including two new elements and a non-terrestrial alloy shell several hundred times stronger than steel. It maintains an interior temperature of 33 degrees Fahrenheit, generates an electromagnetic field, and emits small amounts of alpha, gamma, and delta radiation, using an advanced power source that lasts for thousands of years. In a living environment, alpha particle generation increased, and the temperature rose to 149 degrees.
The organism is mobile like a bacteria, small like a virus, slightly radioactive, bonds in chains, and causes an infection and high fever which responds temporarily to antibiotics. It reproduces exponentially, needs oxygen but goes dormant in an anaerobic environment, feeds on energy, and metabolizes virtually any substance as if it were living tissue, similar to necrotizing fasceitus, or flesh-eating disease. It is capable of communicating through others once reaching critical mass.
The organism identifies itself only as "We".
Hammond initiates a Wildfire Directive (authorization code red dash beta), requiring level 4 quarantine, internal power and life support, and nothing in or out of the mountain. In the event of containment failure, Wildfire kicks in automatically.
The SGC sent the orb and the organisms to P4G-881, a primordial world.

Apophis and Klorel escaped through the onboard stargate before their ships exploded. Nearly all their loyal serpent guards were killed, and Apophis returned to Chulak shamed and weakened. He must reinstate his power or the System Lords will send another to rule in his place.
Fro'tak of the High Cliffs was one of Teal'c's oldest friends since they were both wards of Bra'tac in the bashaak training. He has high station and works in the west wing of the palace in the hall of recording. When it appeared Teal'c would not return, Drey'ac had her marriage removed, and married Fro'tak.
Drey'ac is of the Cord'ai Plains. Rya'c described her of the Morning Cham'ka Groves as a hidden message.
Kel Mar Tokeem: Jaffa term meaning "revenge by the wearer of horns", a reference to being a cuckold.
Ha'taaka: Jaffa term of insult, similar to "shol'va", or traitor
Shesh'ta: Jaffa unit of money
Rya'c had lost two teeth when training with Master Bra'tac. They were replaced with hollow teeth each containing a different biological organism. The organisms are dormant until combined, when they would multiply exponentially, release into the atmosphere, taking two days to spread across North America, less than a week to spread around the world, and killing every living thing within 24 hours of contact.
ECT, or electro convulsive therapy, is similar to a zat'nik'tel discharge and effective in deprogramming.
Drey'auc and Rya'c will live in the Land of Light.

Kasuf unburied the stargate, and Daniel returned to Abydos exactly one Abydos year from the day he left, as they had promised.
Sha're returned to Abydos more than a season ago, pregnant with Apophis' child. Apophis intends the child to be his new host, and hid Sha're away from his enemies.
The Goa'uld within Sha're is Amaunet. She remains dormant during the pregnancy to prevent a stillbirth. While Amaunet sleeps, Sha're can partially access the Goa'uld genetic memories.
Daniel delivers his third baby.
Sha're's child, son of Apophis, was left to be raised by Kasuf. Sha're and Apophis believe the child was stolen by Heru'ur.
Amaunet knew the position of Teal'c and Jackson, but did not reveal their presence.
Carter spent two years at the Pentagon working to develop the Stargate program.
General Jacob Carter is Sam's father. He and Hammond served together during the Cold War. He is suffering from lymphoma, cancer.
O'Neill and Carter were presented with the Air Medal for heroism in destroying the Goa'uld ships and saving Earth. Cover story: analysis of deep space radar telemetry.
Carter had wanted to be an astronaut since childhood, but her plans were interrupted after the Challenger disaster.
Armin Selig has an unnamed source for information on the Stargate program. His death from a hit and run is listed officially as an accident.

The original inhabitants of the planet were human, possibly from Earth, and with a level of technology similar to Earth, but they were wiped out by the alien insect.
Carter worked with Dr. Timothy Harlow, one of the world's top geneticists, when she was at the Pentagon.
Remote Access Code for SG-1: 7062957 0282002
The venom from the insect transforms the DNA of the victim, causing a metamorphosis into numerous new insects through equal matter conversion. Each human would become approximately ten new insects, causing swarms in the millions in six to eight weeks.
The metamorphosis was reversed using experimental RNA inhibitors in conjunction with the symbiote's natural healing abilities.
Teal'c's symbiote was kept alive by synthesizing the environment of his pouch, including temperature, nutrition, and a low level electrical current from D-cell batteries.
Maybourne ordered the insect and all related research transferred to the Area 51 facility. However, following Teal'c's recovery, the insect will be involved in an unfortunate lab accident for which Dr. Harlow will take full responsibility.

THE TOK'RA (part 1)

NOTES OF INTEREST:

"Tok'ra" means "Against Ra." According to Jaffa legend, the Tok'ra are Goa'uld resistance, their stated goal being the dstruction of the System Lords and a change in the ways of the Empire. They are despised and hunted by the Goa'uld and must continually flee to new planets. When they arrive on a planet, they go deep underground and use technology to plant crystals and grow tunnels, similar to a geode. When they move on, the tunnels are destroyed.
The Tok'ra are infiltrators. They had operatives who died aboard Apophis' ships during the attack on Earth. Grand Counsel Garshaw of Belote is the most hunted Goa'uld of all time.
The Tok'ra do not take hosts by force. The symbiote blends with a host by choice, resulting in a truly symbiotic relationship. The symbiote and host share a body, knowledge, and feelings. The life span is double that of a human, but they do not use a sarcophagus to extend life further. Thus they have zero to negative population growth.
Symbiotes do not have a gender, but take on the gender of the host. Jolinar had always been in female hosts, and was the mate of Martouf/Lantash for over 100 years.
Lantash is the symbiote within the host body of Martouf. Garshaw is the symbiote within the host body of Yosuuf. Selmak is the symbiote within the host body of Saroosh. Jolinar was the symbiote within the host body of Rosha.
Jacob Carter's lymphoma has spread to his liver, and he was admited to the USAF Academy Hospital, not expected to live much longer.
SG-3, under Colonel Makepeace, was sent to extract Carter to return to Earth.

The mission to PXY-887 marks Captain Carter's first command.
Trinium was discovered on PXY-887 by Captain Conner and SG-11. Though brittle in its raw state, trinium is 100 times lighter and stronger than steel, and a valuable resource. The arrowhead, and many other Salish artifacts on the planet, were made of pure forged trinium. The Salish call the trinium "ke".
The totem pole is a clan crest, similar in style to the Salish Indians, and tells the story of their origin. They were brought from a distant planet by evil rulers, probably Jaffa taking them from Earth. The Goa'uld on the planet were destroyed by Xe'ls, the Salish's main spirit, traditionally represented by a raven. T'akaya, another important spirit, is represented by a wolf. When the spirits removed the Goa'uld from the planet, they adapted their form to those of the Salish spirits in order to protect and coexist with them in harmony without interfering in their natural evolution.
The spirits are able to adapt their form to change their appearance, and to change the form of others to make them disappear.

Madrona was terraformed about 900 years ago, probably by another alien race, who also probably created the Touchstone. The Touchstone can control and maintain the weather when the high priest turns a series of calibrated rings which determine meteorological conditions over the entire planet.
An energy spike can be created deliberately, causing the wormhole to jump to the second Earth gate, and leaving a recognizable energy signature.
Ever since the beginning of the Stargate program, there have been philosophical skirmishes behind the scenes, politicians pulling the strings outside the jurisdiction of the military.
The Groom Lake Facility in the Nevada desert at Nellis, known as Area 51, is where all technology brought back through the gate is sent for study, including the notes from "Heliopolis" and the two death gliders. Colonel Maybourne was recently reassigned there.
The second gate had been sealed, decommissioned, and sent to Area 51. It was moved from Area 51 under classified authorization from outside the military to an unofficial NID landing site in southern Utah, just south of the Black Mountains, about 40km west of Parowan. It was finally returned to Area 51, sealed with a permanent iris, and put under round-the-clock guard under the command of Hammond and the SGC.
Four NID men escaped through the second gate to an unknown location.

"Ernest's Planet", the meeting place of four distinct races (referred to as P3X-972 in Torment of Tantalus) is reclassified as PB2-908.
The inscription in a circle found on P3R-272 matches one of the four language inscriptions from PB2-908, belonging to the Ancients.
The device on P3R-272 is the archive of the knowledge of the Ancients. It downloaded the alien language and database into O'Neill's brain. As a result, his brain began operating at over 90% capacity, as opposed to the typical 5 to 10%. He wrote a formula in base8 math for calculating planetary distance, drew a schematic with instructions for repairing the DHD, and entered new programming into the main computer to identify new stargates not known on the Abydos cartouche.
O'Neill began to unwillingly speak an alien language related to post-Medieval Latin, the language of the Ancients:

Planet P9Q-281, one of the addresses entered by O'Neill, has a pedestal near the gate with symbols matching the language of the Ancients. Major Castleman joined the SG-1 mission there and found no indigenous life, and two suns, causing temperatures to rise above 200 degrees during the day.
O'Neill constructed an energy device to provide ten times the power to the stargate, allowing it to dial an address using 8 chevrons. The 8th chevron may act as a distance calculation similar to an area code, allowing the wormhole to extend beyond the known stargate system outside the galaxy.
There was once an alliance that was built over many millennia, of four great races of the galaxy: the Asgard, the Nox, the Furlings, and the Ancients.
The Ancients, the builders of the stargates, moved on from this region of space (Othala) long ago.

Daniel was with SG-6 on a dig on PX3-808.
Major Henry Boyd and SG-10 were on a routine exploratory mission to P3W-451, a planet in a binary system, which was in orbit around the companion star of a newly formed black hole. O'Neill recommended Boyd for this command. It was their first mission as a team.
The stargate was able to draw power directly from the black hole itself, making it impossible to disengage, even when the main power was cut.
According to the Theory of Relativity, near light-speed velocities or extreme gravity will cause time dilation.
The gravitational field of the black hole extended through the wormhole, expanding outward like a bubble, and making the time dilation worse as the field expanded, eventually slowing to more than 600% below normal. The warping of space/time occurred in advance of the gravitational field rather than as a result of it, probably due to a lensing effect generated by the stargate, and contradicting known facts and accepted theories about time and gravity.
By using a shape charge and focusing the explosive force toward the stargate, the matter stream was forced to disconnect from P3W-451 and jump to another gate on P2A-870, where it could be shut down.
Colonel Frank Cromwell, Air Force Special Operations, used to be a friend of O'Neill's. On a previous mission, O'Neill was hit, Cromwell thought he was dead and made a decision to save the rest of the team, leaving O'Neill behind where he spent four months in an Iraqi prison.
The SGC is on sub-level 28 of the Cheyenne Mountain facility. NORAD is on the main level.

Teal'c knew Ma'chello from images many years ago. Since before Teal'c was born, Ma'chello had been a fugitive from the System Lords. One of Teal'c's first assignments as First Prime of Apophis was to hunt him. He was developing advanced technology to battle the Goa'uld. He was captured and tortured and marked to become a host, but before the implantation he killed several Jaffa and escaped.
Ma'chello explained that he was a soldier who fought many battles. He was captured and tortured, and lost all he loved and cared for. He continued to fight for 50 years until he was betrayed by his wife who had been secretly turned into a host. Two billion of his people died rather than turn him over to the Goa'uld. If it were not for his refusal to surrender, several System Lords would have conquered Earth.
Ma'chello's electronic notebook database contained schematics of his inventions with icons and notes in an alphabet that is a mixture of ancient Latin and Greek, in form similar to his native language, but in an original language code. One of his devices was a type of life support system. The personality transfer device encrypts every transference and retains a memory, making reversal impossible.
Kelno'reem is similar to hibernation or very deep meditation. In a state of waking sleep, the subconscious mind of a Jaffa becomes one with the symbiote, which allows it to repair an illness.
Teal'c explains that his head must be shaved.

The SGC received a set of coordinates on their radio frequency which they assumed to be a message from the Tok'ra.
"Cal Mah" is the Goa'uld word for sanctuary.
Apophis' injuries included two broken femurs, internal bleeding, withdrawal from the sarcophagus, rapid aging, and severe damage to the symbiote from torture by the same device used by the Ashrak. The symbiote was unable to repair the damage, but a sarcophagus can revive him even from death.
Sokar is a Goa'uld of ancient times. He was once ruler of the System Lords but was defeated centuries ago by an alliance of Goa'uld including Apophis and Ra. In The Book of the Dead he was the most feared deity in ancient Egypt, the original god of death, similar to Satan. At one time he ruled all of Earth, his lands around Memphis were covered by darkness and inhabited by serpents. His portion of Tuat, the Other World, was filled with lakes of fire where the wicked were thrown as punishment after torture and mutilation, as in hell. Sokar may inhabit Unas, first hosts of the Goa'uld.
Sokar had captured and tortured Apophis. The last of Apophis' loyal Jaffa died helping him to escape. Sokar has a sarcophagus to revive him. He is also currently at war with Heru'ur.
Sokar fired a particle accelerator at the wormhole. The space between the wormhole and the iris is enough to allow high energy subatomic particles to reintegrate, but moving at near-light velocities. Modulating the particle stream can create an image, and intense heat, up to 130 degress in the gateroom, and 6-8 times that for the iris itself.
The Tok'ra had operatives aboard Sokar's vessel. They used the radioactive signature of the Sagan box to contact Earth. They were given a remote access code signaling device (GDO) to contact Earth in the future, and left behind the sub-space transmitter of the Tollan, with whom they are friends, enabling Earth to contact the Tok'ra in the future.

Carter is able to sense naquadah, to detect the presence of a Goa'uld symbiote in a host or a Jaffa. A Goa'uld symbiote in a host or a Jaffa is able to sense the presence of a Reetou.
"Mother" had been watching the SGC for many weeks. She first saw SG-1 on another planet, and followed the team through the stargate where she observed them until they returned with Tonané, and determined O'Neill could be trusted.
Charlie and the Reetou are from Reetalia. Most of the Reetou were destroyed by the Goa'uld. In retalliation, Reetou rebels intend to destroy the Goa'uld through attrition by destroying all possible hosts. They work in small groups of five suicide infiltrators using cross-phasal explosives. The Central Authority of the Reetou oppose the rebel plan, and sent Mother and Charlie to warn Earth.
Charlie is human, created through accelerated genetic engineering to act as an intermediary. The acceleration caused several major organs to have congenital defects, including his heart, kidneys and lungs, and his reticular formation is twice normal size, allowing him to perceive the Reetou.
According to quantum physics, matter exists in both particles and waves. If the Reetou waves are exactly 180 degrees out of phase with Earth, then their light and sound waves would be undetectable. However, the Reetou are able to operate things in our phase.
A Transphase Eradication Rod (TER) relies on the Reetou emissions that Goa'uld are sensitive to, in order to make the Reetou visible in our phase, and to terminate them.
SGC can use the Tollan sub-space transmitter to contact the Tok'ra. Several TERs were left with the SGC, and hand scanners were installed to prevent the Reetou from controlling the iris.
Charlie was taken by the Tok'ra to be healed by a symbiote.

P2X-555 was the intended destination for the mission. At this time of year, the direct line between P2X-555 and Earth takes the wormhole within 70,000 miles of the sun, making it necessary to update the computer's drift calculation to include gravitational space/time warping. When they didn't arrive, SG-5 completed the mission in their place.
After the Abydos mission, Carter researched alternative applications for the gate, including time travel. A massive solar flare occurring at the same moment as gate travel would redirect the wormhole closer to the sun because of the flare's magnetic field, and the increased gravity would cause a slingshot effect back to Earth, travelling back in time. Solar flares on the opposite side of the sun would use the sun's rotational differential to be sent forward in time instead of back. Hammond recognized the cut on Carter's hand, and used Carter's research to look up two solar flares in August of 1969 to include in his note.
The Grandfather Paradox states that if you go back in time and kill your own grandfather, your father would have never been born, thus, changing one's own past can change the world in unimaginable ways.
They travelled cross country on Route 66, leaving Colorado on August 4th and arriving at New Jersey on August 10th and Washington DC on August 11th.
SG-1 entered the stargate a few seconds too soon and was thrown far into the future where they were met by Cassandra, who sent them home. When Cassandra was old enough to understand, Carter had told her that she would be the one to meet them. In the future, the gateroom was deserted, and Cassandra used a wrist device to activate the stargate without a kawoosh.
Daniel speaks 23 different languages.
Astronomy, on a small scale, is one of O'Neill's hobbies.

If they remain on Earth, Teal'c will eventually be taken over by his mature symbiote.
Daniel visited Catherine Langford posing as the son of Heinrich Gruber, an old friend and partner of Catherine's father who had been involved in the dig at Giza.
The gate was powered by two truck engines, and dialed manually.
SG-1 was sent back to August 4, 1969. In 1969:
- Cheyenne Mountain was a missile silo, 28 floors underground.
- Hammond was assigned to Cheyenne Mountain as a Lieutenant.
- Hammond watched the first moon landing from his father's bedside in his hospital room two days after his first heart attack.
- The stargate, after being discovered by Professor Langford in 1928, and experimented upon before Ernest Littlefield's disappearance in 1945, was now locked away in an armory in Washington D.C. where the military did not acknowledge its existence.
- Catherine Langford lived in New York, and began her gate research in the late 60's.
- Michael and Jenny were going to Woodstock before Michael had to leave for the draft.
- Daniel was 4½ years old (born in 1965).

NOTES OF INTEREST:

SG-1 went to a planet thought to be ruled by a Goa'uld where they encountered both Serpent and Horus guards and were taken prisoner, cryogenically frozen, with no memory of their capture. Teal'c suffered massive internal injuries and was left for dead.
Members of SG-1 were told that the year is 2077. They were sent back through the stargate already frozen and placed in cryogenic hibernation for 78 years until there was sufficient technology to safely revive them, but the rest of the team members were returned already dead. General Hammond lived to be 93 years old. There are 28 SG teams on Earth and 10 more occupying off-world colonies. The outpost planets are at war with the Goa'uld and losing, and SGC needs to know which alien cultures have the knowledge and technology to defeat them. The implanted device is technology from the Tok'ra, with whom Earth is still allied, and is used to stimulate memory.
Carter has naquadah in her system which can be sensed by the Goa'uld. The drugs prevented her from sensing the naquadah in others.
Hathor has the power of invisibility, however SG-1 is now immune to the controlling organism in her breath.
Hathor is recruiting her forces of Serpent and Horus guards from the remote outposts of her enemies and building an army.
