The first man on the moon, Neil Armstron died at 82 years of age. Sad

I still remember sitting as a little girl watching his steps from the Eagle.

I was 18 at the time and remember exactly where I was when they landed on the moon - in the television section at my local KMART store along with about 50 other shoppers. I wish I was at home though watching it with my dad. He was an H G Wells and Jules Verne fan and always believed men would go to the moon.

Well, I was 10 years old and my parent stayed in bed asleep. I set the alarm on my clock and went down on my own.
My mother and my father never understand, why I did that but it's a very special memory and for me it's a extreme value.
