Ever wonder what the SG1 gang were saying to one another when they use military hand signals? Check out this link:

That's funny, Beth. Wonder who had the time to think up those definitions. Smile

Occurs to me that the Crybaby signal could also stand for...

"Oh, for crying out loud!"

I can also sooooo see Jack using the "We're outta here!" signal. Smile

Laughing Snort!

After 2 days of trying to do environmental ed with 6th graders while they and a cold rob me of my voice, I can appreciate some of these and wish I'd known them sooner! On the other hand, MY hand signal for "Be quiet for once in your lives" is to point to the ground, make the motion of doing push-ups, and then open and close both hands twice. It translates to "Drop down and give me 20!" Twisted Evil

He, he... I like that Andria Twisted Evil

I don't think I can do that with my kindergarteners... Rolling Eyes

but I'm sure I can come up with something just as sweet! Twisted Evil Wink

I've come up with military hand signals just for the SG-1 team.

Beth, that is brilliant. Sheer genius.

I have done some searching on the web for what the hand signals really mean, and I had found the one you used as a resource, and several others with, shall we say, creative interpretations. But none as clever as yours. Smile

Thanks for the smile!

Kate

Don't you think RDA would enjoy this as well?

Seems like the kinda insightful goofy humour that we all appreciate!
