His name is Carel Struycken. Us 5'-ish girls would probably reach just above his belly button.
He's Dutch, by the way. He got famous playing Lurch in the Addams Family.

And I know the super-tall guy as Mr Homm (Lwaxana Troi's assistant) from ST:TNG. To me, Lurch is the original one from the TV show.

you absolutely are not alone.. i am 1.60 (5' 2'') too.. but i am glad i am a fan of a gentleman who kindly leans to get a cheek to cheek shoot..

isn't it really nice though? Really considerate of him.
While I was standing in line to get my autograph, someone ahead of me handed him the pic she or he (I can't remember whether it was a man or a woman) wanted to get signed. He started working on it while talking and then all of a sudden stopped. He started examining the pic as if there was something wrong with it. While signing it, he must have done something to it because after a second he turned towards the lady sitting next to him that was taking the pics for him to sign and had her hand him a brand new one. I thought that was very nice of him. I am guessing they must have kept some extra pics around just in case something went wrong during the signing.

Hi Banlu. I must say I envy you. I'd love to be 5'10". I have often wondered what the view is like from up there...
Also I really don't help myself at all when it comes to my height... I hate heels so I am never more than 5'1"

I hardly ever wear heels either. But if and when I get to meet The Man, I will wear them. Blisters are a small price to pay for those extra 2 or 3 inches
Nah, I shouldn't exaggerate. I do wear them at times, for my work or whenever I have to be presentable. So I can wear them all day without too many problems.
