Does anybody know what the song is that is being played when he is in his car after he leaves the girl. it goes something like this, not exactly sure of the words but... "has it come to this, it's a dream of your kiss, I can't let go..."? Who sings it and what is it called. Thanks

I got in touch with Tom & he said to look at the credits & see if the Music Supervisor is listed & get in touch with them.

I have yet to do that but if I have any luck, I shall post, or if anyone gets there before me, please let me know (I'm still jetlagged from my Miami/Bahamas/LA hol!)

Jetlag ain't the word! Going across 3 timezones in 3 days was not a good idea!!!

Here is Tom's message to me:

"I did score that film and am grateful that you liked it as well...I am fond of that score...in regard to the 'source' music that was being played in the car, I'm afraid I don't have a clue...that was handled by either the music editor, or Music Supervisor on the film. I have been MS on many films, but usually wear one 'hat' per film, either as composer or MS...

If you have a copy of the film, look at the end credits and if there is a MS...google him or her...or identify the music editor and call that company or google him or her...

Good Luck!"

I intend to have an evening rewatching this film (don't quite know all the words yet, hehe!) so will look out for the credits then!

Thanks guys...I have watched the end of the credits and I didn't see anything in them, but doesn't mean it's not there! I will keep looking. Thank you for your help though!

I googled using these search terms "a dream of your kiss" lyrics

And found this
http://74.125.47.132/search?q=cache:P0P7qysavdgJ:www.inthe00s.com/archive/inthe80s/bbs11/webBBS_11907.shtml+%22a+dream+of+your+kiss%22+lyrics&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1&gl=us&client=firefox-a

In case that link doesn't work, the answer was I Can't Let Go be Celi Bee.

I checked, and you can find the song online several places.

Out of interest, I emailed Hearst Entertainment, who produced the film & I actually got a reply:

"Hearst Entertainment did produce this movie and I think you are referring to "Can't Let Go." In checking the music cue sheet on file, the composer/publisher is noted as Mark Williamson".

There is an album of his called Time Slipping By, its an import & the track they mention is on it:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Time-Slipping-Mark-Williamson/dp/B000008MXD/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1250617468&sr=8-1

I have bought the album, for the sake of a few £ its worth it, especially if it is the one!
