Hi again,

Since that thread where we posted pictures of ourselves when we were younger was such a big success, I decided to start a new thread where we could post pictures of ourselves with our pets. We all know how much RDA loves dogs, so I thought I would start a thread where we could post pictures of us with our dogs. But I won't just limit this thread to just dogs! Wink You can post just any picture of you with your favorite pet or pets. I scanned a few pictures of me with my dogs, and other pictures of just the dogs by themselves. These are really old pictures. Our dogs have long since died, but I had a lot of good pictures to remember them by. Smile So I'll start out by posting these pictures of my dogs. I found a couple of pictures of Rick and his 2 dogs he had, Whiskey and Zoe. So I'll post those too! Looking forward to seeing all your pets too! Very Happy

Sincerely,
Nancy

First of all, here are a couple of pictures of RDA with his dog Whiskey. I'm sure you have all seen these before, but I think they are really good pictures. Wink

I really Love this one of Rick "kissing" Whiskey! Cute! You can tell he really has a "personal" relationship with his dogs. lol

Here is a picture of Richard and his other dog Zoe. I just had one picture of him and Zoe. I wasn't able to find any recent pictures of him and Zoe from Stargate. This was the only one I could find.

Ok, Now here are my pictures of our dogs! Very Happy

Here is a picture of our Poodle Guiseppe before we had him clipped. He was my mom's favorite dog! Very Happy He lived to be about 12 or 13 years old before he died. He was really smart! Very Happy My mom was really sad when he died. I was too! Sad But we have a lot of good memories of our dogs. They were really sweet dogs and we loved them very much! Smile

Here is a picture of me having fun with my dog Cookie. She was my first dog, before we got Guiseppe. She was part Beagle and part Terrier. She lived to be pretty old since she was a mixed breed. She was about 18 when she died. But she was a lot of fun!

Here is me taking a sun bath with Cookie and Guiseppe. Guiseppe wanted to get in the chair too, but there wasn't room. lol All of these pictures were taken when we lived in North Carolina at the time.

Another outdoor picture. Smile

Cookie giving me a smooch. LOL

Me holding Guiseppe. I think this was in the winter.

Me and Cookie playing in the snow.

Me getting ready to give Cookie a smooch. lol

Cookie playing in the snow.

Cookie in the hammock. Looks like The Queen of Sheba in this shot. LOL

Cookie and Guiseppe in their later years.

Our Schnauzer Cassie. She was about 12 years old when she died.

Cassie taking a snooze.

Cassie with her bandage on. She had to have this operation and they put this big bandage on so she wouldn't lick the stitiches. Poor thing!

Couch potato dog. lol This was at my brother's house in Wilmington, NC.

Cassie and friends. LOL This was at our house in North Carolina during Christmas.

This was taken at my brothers house in Wilmington, NC. That's my dad's feet in the background. lol

Well, that's all the pet pictures I have for now. Looking forward to seeing all your pets! Very Happy

All The Best,
Sincerely,
Nancy

Hey there Nancy! Very Happy

See you've been having fun sorting through the 'ole photo albums! Thanks for all the great pix!

I'm personnally particularlly partial to poodles ... the most smartest dog on the planet! (no bias here!) Love all dogs but give me my poodle anyday! My little doggie actually trained me before I trained him! One summer when he was just about 8 months old or so I would go out onto the back sunroom to read. There I had a reclining chair and I would put my feet up and read a good book. My puppy would sit by the windows and watch the world outside.

Well, one day, as I sat down in my comfy chair I realized that puppy was poking at the chair with his nose and wouldn't stop until I lifted the foot rest into the up position, assurring me a fully reclined, stay-put position. Then he'd prance away to his window. Day after day this went on, then it hit me! My dog was commanding me to STAY. Little bugger! He taught me how to STAY. Shocked

Anyway -

Here's my little precious one right after the groomer...

I'll see if I can gather up some more Very Happy

Hehehe! That's my friend's dog, Belle, she's so cute! I said, "Where's the ball, Belle?" and she went searching for it till she found it!

Here are some photos of her and the household cat, Cornflake. (I don't have any pets at the moment.)

And of course, their pet budgie, Pretty Boy:

Hey Denise, and Allyson,

Thanks so much for posting those really cute pictures of your pets. Just popped in and saw these. Very Happy Denise, your budgie Pretty Boy was really cute. We used to have parakeets years ago, and even had a couple of cockatiels, and finches. Not all at one time, but at different times. I couldn't find any pictures of them at the moment, but maybe later on I'll find some. I took some slides of my birds, so they could be on some slides. So I don't know if I can scan slides or not. Confused

I really Love your poodle Allyson! He is really cute! My mom thought our poodle was really smart too. He really had my mom trained well! LOL Wink Thanks for posting that. Denise, I really loved your video of your dog. Is she a pomeranian? She is really cute! Very Happy Your cat is pretty too. My nephew used to have a cat that looked like yours. Her name was Phoenix. She was a really pretty cat! Smile Btw Denise, you said you didn't have any pets at the moment. Did you give your pets away? Did they die? We don't have any pets right now either. But as I said, we often feed my cousin's dog Tasha. She is part huskey. She's really pretty. She comes down to our house and we give her left overs or doggie bones. She loves that! Very Happy So we think of her as our dog too. lol

Those are great pictures! Gerda, hope you can find some pictures of your pets too. That would be neat! Thanks again for posting those lovely pictures of your pets Denise and Allyson! They were Sooo Cute! Very Happy

Sincerely,
Nancy

Nancy,

The photos are of my friend's pets. I just came back from the west coast (Australia) where I attended my friend's wedding and stayed at their house. The pets are full on fun! Especially Belle, she's ready to play with you at a glance! LOL! Yes she's a Pomeranian. The budgie is also theirs and plays all day by himself in his cage. As soon as you get within 3 feet of him, he stops and waits for you to go away, then he goes back to playing. He scratches around in the newspapers at the bottom of his cage, shredding them; he also plays with the bell which is hanging from a mirror in his cage; he also flaps his wings and pretends he's flying long distances (or something); he chirps and makes noises too. A VERY active bird! As for Cornflake, he's changed colours quite a lot over the years. He got his name from my friend's sister who said, "He looks like cornflakes floating in milk so let's call him Cornflake." These days he's almost all ginger tabby pattern. Weird how that changed! He's about 9 or 10 now I guess.

I don't have any pets because we haven't had any pets for some 20 years. All the ones in the photos I posted are alive and well. Smile

Denise
