The first photo I posted is one of my favorites, but, it always bothered me that the image was so poor. It was obviously a poorly-made scan that had vertical streaks in it as well as the funny pattern lines in it that scanning can cause. So I decided to retouch it in Photoshop.
I deleted the picture from the above post and am posting it here, so that you can see the side-by-side, before and after difference.
 
And here is a manip for those silver hair lovers out there (you know who you are - MARIA).
