i know how you feel. I too registered "just for the heck of it" after the tickets were gone. I couldn't believe it when I got that wonderful e-mail about getting a ticket.
I know you are going to have a wonderful Christmas. See you in 217 days |
You bet!!!! Yeah, see you too!!! Good there is somebody who counts the days!!! |
Sorry, but I made a little "booboo" counting the days. Forgot to add the remaining days in December. sooo the count is 221 days from today. January 1, it will be 217...... _________________

Hey Pam, we are going to see and meet and smell and hug THE MAN!!!!! Do you really think there is a difference, if we will do that some days earlier or later????? Later is better, as the fun to look forward to all those wonderful things lasts a bit longer than, hehe!!!

Belathne,
I've been searching the web for some information. So far the best site I found is http://www.tourismvancouver.com(visitors).
I'm going to be staying an extra day just to explore the area. I have my room booked at the Sheraton (the old man is paying for it) and have a rental car on reserve. Need to book the airfare next. So far the least expensive one I found was on Hotwire.com. $448 round trip from Chicago to Vancouver, with a stop over in Minneapolis, which I thought was very fitting. _________________

Pam,
I've already read a book about the area. I plan to stay 2 weeks in Canada. First Vancouver, than the MAN and than Vancouver Island. I also want to book the Sheraton Hotel - good chances to meet him in the elevator, hehe!!!! _________________

Another good site to look at is http://www.vancouver.com/
Anyone looking for a hotel a little more modest than the wall should check out the Tropicana Suites they are about $100 Can a night around the con dates (Without tax ) for people looking to share this sleeps four
and is only about six blocks from the Sheraton, the downside seems to be from reviews I found the rooms are clean but worn and there is no air-con but it is a great location (Robson Street) and you get a better
rate if you book through this site than the hotels own.
Lots of good stuff here not just hotels.
Just found another little snippet about this hotel it has limited free parking so could be more savings there

I have a feeling he may be staying at another hotel. With all us crazy ladies around, I really wouldn't blame him. _________________
