Thanks ladies! I just like to double check about such things as I have found that folks from different locations have a different idea about what "flat" is. (Florida "flat" is a lot flatter than, say, West Virginia "flat" or Idaho "flat."   ) |

Well, and then there is flatness as judged by an overweight person. Trust me, we know flat and not flat!
I registered for the 1-mile fun walk because that's about the shape I'm in. And I was hoping for flat (thanks for confirming it, Kat) but figured I could do whatever. If I actually get to meet RDA, I'll probably float so it won't be a problem. |

I wonder if Rory might try and make a second year of it...if she's doing well.
Was hoping we could get a half dozen of us or so, but it's not looking good... Guess the ol' economy has taken the 'venture' out of many people's 'adventure.' I can understand...this is probably biting me a bit harder than I want it too. Oh well, we only live one life (at a time), might as well go for it! |

I so envy you, girls. I wish I could go there, too as I'm doing public runs up to 10 km (6.21 miles) quite often. I'd give anything to meet RDA or just to know I'm near him. So, I'm hoping for your pics.
Only chance for me would be winning the lottery to afford the flight ...
Anyway, have all fun there! |
