I was trolling the Google news archive, and kept finding references like these:
Anderson Cast as Lead in `Tombstone Law'
Pay-Per-View - Los Angeles Times - ProQuest Archiver - Jun 3, 1993
Richard Dean Anderson, the former star of "MacGyver," has been cast as Wyatt Earp in a TV movie that NBC plans to broadcast next season, "Tombstone Law. ...
THE RELIABLE SOURCE | Article from The Washington Post | HighBeam …
Pay-Per-View - Washington Post - HighBeam Research - Oct 14, 1993
Hollywood can't seem to get enough of Wyatt Earp. ... Richard Dean Anderson stars and executive-produces this one, which begins shooting next week. ...
here's all the earp references for 1993

Since I'm too cheap to buy the articles, I never got past the abstracts LOL. But some places actually have pics of the newspapers online! for free! Like this MacGyver article

You can move the big picture around like you do a google map, and you can zoom in and out a bit. If you click on the rectangle to the right of the zoom magnifying glasses, you get go to the full page, and the one next to that gets rid of the frame.
Anyway, I was wondering if the Tombstone movie morphed into Legend?or did it just give Rick the idea to do a western?

I heard Rick mention that role in an interview. If you go to www.macgyveronline.com, then go to media, then to interviews, you can find it. Look for the interview with a picture of Rick with longish hair and a beard. He was on Jay Leno, I think. Wish that show had panned out. _________________ Rickfan |
