I put Little Jack there with, so you'd know I didn't just yank a pic off of Google Images. It WAS good!

The kids will be visiting tomorrow, so I may not be able to get on for chat (depends on if they're at the house when you are on for Yoo-Kay Wive Tat). I'll see. I'll use the PW if I do, so you'll know it's me.

All right, well, I've been slow to read and post on this one, but I do have a couple of thoughts.

As for the thunk comments.... As long as they do not get vulgar, I've sometimes simply viewed them as a form of flattery. Is it that horrible for someone to say that he looks good? That he looks sexy? Wouldn't you like to hear someone say, "Oh, you look good!" or "Gosh, you look hot!" just a little more often? Doesn't it make you feel a tad bit good about yourself when someone says something like that to you? Does it do that much harm for us to let him know that we think he has the right stuff? Truly? Thunks don't have to be filthy, but they do happen...they are a natural reaction to a good looking man!

As for people 'pretending to care'...I believe that many people here care very deeply. They care about Rick, they care about each other, and they care about the world. It's true, not everybody can care on the same level or with the same intensity. But one should never condemn another for even the attempt at caring. We are learning together.

I simply have to echo that I believe most here are really caring and nice people too, at least the once I have chatted with.

I often look at the "Thunk" thread and certainly have felt a "drool" too. I also think that was the purpose of starting the thread. For those pictures and comments for those of us that really admire RDA for the "hunk" he was and is and for the person, father, activist and caring individual he is. I can't say I have read anything that was that foul or "X" rated either. I think most of us here have good sense in what we type and say.

I have also been a member of fan sites where some of the other members were way overprotective of their "star." I usually quit visiting those sites. I think you'll like it here. Haven't experienced any really snarky members on this site. Cool
