Hi, I'm very new here and I'm curious if anyone likes taking pictures since I saw the art that everyone has done in the other topic. Post them if you do! I'll start out (and I apologize if there was already a topic like this, let me know!)
I resized them so they would be slow computer friendly
1. pink flowers at my friend's house
2. bar stools in an old fashioned ice cream shop
3. fireplace at my aunt's house
4. the back of the castle at disneyland
5. the alien from toy story on a wall and my reflection/shoe/hand
6. huge dinosaur at disney's california adventure
7. friends playing with checkers
8. the drummer from a band called mae
Those were done with a cheap digital camera that I am so ready to get rid of haha. someday I'd like to get an expensive real camera *dreams* so then I could take much better pictures. |

Hi neverendingstory,
Wow for a cheap digital camera, those sure are good pictures. I have a digital camera too, that I take pictures with. I also have an old Cannon AE-1 regular camera that I've had since I was in highschool. I've taken lots of pictures on that one. It's not digital, but I have lost of slides, and prints that I've taken in the past. Digital cameras are pretty good, but in my opinion, I really like my old Cannon the best. Seems like I could get more detail with my old camera than my digital camera, as far as lighting, angles, etc. I've taken several pictures with my digital camera, and they turned out ok. But I guess I'm used to my old camera, and I like it that best.
Anyway, you have some great pictures here, and you did a good job taking them. Thanks for posting those.
I took some pictures when we went to this Shaker Village in Kentucky with my digital camera. There was one I took of this spiral staircase that was neat. I'll try to find that one and post it. Good idea starting a picture thread. Maybe if we post some pictures here, maybe others will too.
Take Care,
Nancy _________________

Hi neverendingstory,
Nice pics you got there. I liked the fireplace, and the bar stools.
Gerda is gonna love this thread. I'm sure she'll have lots of pics to share when she comes back from her trip to the UK.
OK, here's one from me. Fresh out of the oven (litereraly)
My son Federico baked this amazing Key Lime Pie today.
Which not only tasted delicious but looked good too.
So here's the pic:
mmm...

Hey Maria,
Nice picture of your son's pie. That really looks good enough to eat! My mom has made that kind of pie before too. Those are really good! Tell your son he did a good job making that. Hope it tasted as good as it looks.
Btw here's a couple of pictures of this spiral staircase I promised to post. this was taken at this restaurant and Inn we went to when we visited this Shaker Village in Kentucky. That was really neat. Hope these aren't too big. I resized them on my photoshop before I posted them, so I hope they aren't huge.
Great pictures girls!
Take Care,
Nancy

macjackfan- thank you soo soo much! I think I might pick up the one real camera I have and take some artsy pictures. It hasn't been used in years, my grandfather used it in his lifetime, I hope it still works! haha. We shall see I've seen pictures he's taken in the past and the quality is beautiful.
those staircase pictures are wonderful!! I've never been in a building with a spiral staircase like that but when I do I am SO taking pictures
Maria- thank you!! that pie looks tasty. Never had that kind of pie before but it still looks mighty tasty haha. I like the green in the photo, that makes it pop out at ya. |

I know, I liked the colors too, that's why I decided to post it.
Believe me, it was delicious!
Nancy, the stairs look great. But it made me think of my husband, who has this thing about heights. He would never be able to look down those stairs, and if he catches me near anything that's too high he pulls me back, lol weird.

I, too, enjoy taking photos. I don't do it very often but I think that I sometimes get very artsy photos. I'm lucky if I get one in a roll of film. Here are a few I took recently:
This is Whangarei Falls in Whangarei, New Zealand.
This is a park in Whangarei, New Zealand.
This is taken at that same park, from the top of a stairway.
Now these two were taken in Venice, CA. Sanja, I hope you don't mind. I think these are beautiful photos of both you and Bosko!

All these photos are so beautiful!
I love that picture of the stools. That's the perfect photo to post over a bar.
That apple made me hungry, the clouds made me want to eat whipped cream, and that spiral staircase made me dizzy!
LOL!
I loved the mini waterfall too! It's like a baby version of the one I saw in NZ! _________________ Jenni

Kim, those forest pictures are amazing. You are so lucky to live in such a beautiful place.
lilferret, the waterfall is breathtaking.
Tanya, did you eat that apple right after you took that pic?, LOL
I can imagine your mother's face
Sanja, you and Bosko look adorable. Thanks lilferret for posting those pics.
Gerda is back from her trip to the UK, and she sent some beautiful pictures. She sounded very happy with her trip.
I'll post just a few because I don't want the page to get to heavy for those on dial up:
