Laughing Laughing Laughing This is priceless! So cute. I love it all: Sam in a poncho, Teal'c serving as a lifting jack, the whole team work, the scenery with all the lovely details, and of course - our guys getting 'lost'. LOL Hilarious. And no need to make up dialogues, Astra. Your pictures speak for themselves.

Girls, you must have had so much fun with this story. Thank you for sharing. I can't wait for the 2nd part. Smile

By the way, I would like to see inside the Mini Cooper when all SG-1 hop in. Their seating must be quite interesting. With Sam driving, I would suppose Teal'c riding shotgun, considering his dimensions, and that leaves Daniel and Jack on the back seat.

Jack: I think you have spent too much time in the gym, Daniel. Getting too bulky with those muscles of yours.
Daniel: You are spread over the whole seat. See? This is my half, this is yours. So shift away.
Jack: YOU shift away. You're crashing my arm.
Daniel: You weakling. Wait. Your arm? I thought it was the loose spring from the seat digging into my thigh.
Jack [glaring dangerously]: Very funny. Will you move away, PLEASE?
Daniel: I can't. Any more pressure and the window will give way. Again.

[Common sigh]

Jack: I'm having cramps in my leg.
Sam: Ouch!
Jack: Sorry. Needed to brace myself against your head rest to release my arm from under Daniel's butt.
Teal'c [remaining stoic]: Perhaps, we shall ignite the engine, Major Carter.
Sam: Yes. Of course. It's just so distracting. All that rumpus before they settle in. Happens every time we get in the car.
Teal'c: We must minimize the number of interruptions on our journey.
Jack: They're called 'stops', Tea--- Jeez, my back!
Daniel: Are you all right? You look pale.
Jack: I'm fine. Just a vertebra tryin' to squeeze past the line.
Daniel: Sam, maybe we should change the plans and go to the hospital. He really doesn't look good.
Jack: You shut up, and you start up the damn parody of a car and get us the hell out of here, Major!

Yes we had. Especially when Nike thought up about Jack and Daniel peeing Wink *giggles*

I also forgot to mention - we didn't have the right tool for removing tires in our tool box (no idea what the English name for "Wagenkreuz" is), so the one Jack is giving Sam? Nike made that out of some tin foil.

And see? See see see see see? *hops up and down like Daniel*

Your little dialogue there at the end is so wonderful and full of life and so THEM. Nice addition! Thank you. I'll send it all to Nike as well.

Laughing Even action figures have to pee. Laughing
Hahaha, what a great story. I love your idea that Sams does the men's work and Jack is her dogsbody.

~snort~ ~snort~ ~snort~ at Astra's bathroom humor! That must have been an hilarious shoot.

And y'all call a tire wrench a "wagon cross"? LOLOL. Very descriptive!

Paya, I too was wondering how they'd all fit! When I was much younger (thank God) I had to take a five hour ride (each way) in a car about that size. At least the two people in the front were short enough to pull the seats up all the way for us taller folks in the back (I'm the same height as AT). The car was so stuffed, the 6'3" guy and I in the back had a sleeping bag between us - at least it made a nice armrest LOL.

Glad you all liked our Mini vacation! I'll post the second part in a heart beat, but please first go back to Nike's wedding pictures, as I just added another three at the end here:

http://rdanderson.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?p=136311#136311

This was actually what gave me the whole idea in the first place - the balkony they are standing on is actually a vase.

Now on with our vacation. Just a reminder, the first part can be found here:

http://rdanderson.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?p=136535#136535

They finally had to realize they wouldn't make it home that night, so they set up camp. Before they all went into the tent, they had a small camp fire going. And surprisingly Teal'c was quite the guitar player!

Just so you know, Nike has made this tent herself! I think it looks absolutely awesome.

And a behind-the-scenes shot:

Yippee, the part 2 is here! So lovely again. Very Happy Beautiful arrangement, sweet little accessories, and the tent... All the way through the series, I was wondering where you got it. And then there was the note that Nike had made it. Awesome. The shape, design, details - itís perfect. And guess what? Iím in the process of making a little tent too, for my next action figure project. Had I known it, I would have ordered one from Nike. LOL

Thank you, girls, again for the fun. Can you see the huge grin on my face? Wink

And now, if you excuse me, Iím going through the pictures again, letting them speak to me:

Tealíc sings poetically into the calm dark night:
When I was just a baby, my mama told me, "Son,

Daniel: Guys, have you finally decided, how weíll do it?

Always be a good boy; don't ever play with guns."

Daniel: Because I sure wonít sleep in the car.

But I shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die.

Daniel: And I canít stay outside either. Iím having an alergy to that cactus.

When I hear that whistle blowin' I hang my head and cry.

Atchoo!

I bet there's rich folks eatin' in a fancy dining car.

Daniel: Actually, Sam, why have you brought such a small tent?

They're probably drinkin' coffee and smokin' big cigars,

Sam: Me? I thought it was yours.

Well I know I had it comin', I know I can't be free,

Daniel: No, Itís not. I left mine home. Remember? When we were going through the list, you said: ďIíll take one.Ē

But those people keep on movin', and that's what tortures me.

Sam: No, I said: ďTake one.Ē

Well, if they freed me from this prison, if that railroad train was mine,

Daniel: Oh. So whose is it then?

I bet I'd move it on a little farther down the line,

Daniel: Jaaack?!

Far from Folsom Prison, that's where I want to stay,

Jack: What?

And I'd let that lonesome whistle blow my blues away...

(Sorry, I couldnít help it. The scene is so lively that the dialogie popped naturally in my fron again. Laughing)

Okay, when I saw the pics of the camp fire, an other song popped in my fron. Wink "Row, row, row your boat, Gently down the stream. Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, Life is but a dream. Row, row ...". Laughing
The way Jack and Sam are looking at each other, I guess that these two will need the tent on their own. Wink

Funny story Astra. I'm always impressed how detailed the settings of the scenes are.

Thanks, Belathne!

LOL Paya, I love your dialogue. Especially that Teal'c kept singing through it all, unfazed. Guess he has seen and heard this stuff too often.

But how was the problem solved in the end? I must have lost track. Did Jack and Daniel end up in the tent and Sam in the car? Twisted Evil

As I have no more stories to share at the moment, the thread is all yours for hopefully much new cool stuff.

Our four friends stored the food in the tent and slept in their sleeping bags next to the fire Wink

First of all thank you for the great photos.
I never thought that this treat is so well received.
Yesterday I got my BestLock Stargate Legos bought.
Here are some photos of it.

Awwww, that's too cute! I had no idea these existed. You need to show us more of them!

Lis, without you I wouldn't have been able to buy my first figures (you gave me the link to the shop), and I only started playing because of your funny pictures - remember the Jaffa in the beach chair?

So, many thanks for your inspiration! And please come back whenever you have time, to add something new.

Me neither. That is really cute. The little stargate especially is lovely. That brings some new potential. Twisted Evil

And then you spread the virus. Wink So is it actually Lis to whom I should thank for my current obsession?

Since it is the trick-or-treat day today, let me share a bit of Halloween stuff with you. These two standalone pictures were taken as a part of another story, but I think they better belong here.
Jack is exploring a big statue he found on his trip:

And here, if you are interested, you can download a little Halloween sillines - a music video/slide show of a special dangerous SG-1 mission to the planet P4M-K1N. Just right-click on the pumpkin and "Save target as":

(it's an mp4 file, about 31MB. I chose a bigger file for better quality.)

I guess we'll have to do a conclusion with a bear now LOL

Oh yes... definitely! I was afraid to look for them yet, afraid for my purse...

Definitely! Well, actually RDA, as it was when I flew to the UK back in 2006 when I met Lis on the airport. The rest is history, as they say. Funny how sometimes things work out!

And your little Halloween-pictures and video are cute as well! The speech bubbles work very well, it's almost as if I could hear them talk. And that's a very interesting... thing... that they met there. Although I had a bit of trouble to understand what the alien was saying. Has Daniel figured out the name of the species yet?
