I just love the moody ones and this is Moody Jack in perfection. What you do is art. It's not only placing an action figure into different surroundings. It seems that a real man with emotions is standing there. Awesome! _________________

The two guys on the beach are too funny. I just love the way you are able to get the right perspective to make them look like real men. I bet Danny with a Japanese umbrella is a sight for all slashers and of course Jack claims the beach chair for his own. It's so Jack. _________________

Astra, I know the "Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg". We visited it twice, the second time after Switzerland was finished. It is an absolutely MUST SEE for people like Paya and you, who have such an good eye for details. The figures, vehicles, houses and so on are not only placed there, they actually tell stories, if you look carefully.
E.g. there is an open air concert of D J BOBO with hundreds of visitors, but when you look at the stage, you can see that the people in wheel chairs are sitting, resp. standing in the very first row. Amazing!
Our kids took a very close look and found by chance a naked couple in an explicit position. That made them look even more carefully on the exhibitions and they found more naked people. Hey, there even was a drowned corpse in a creek with policemen around it.
The people, who created this sight and are expanding it are very very talented men and women. _________________

You ladies with such creative minds are to be commended, especially for your choices of models. The collections are simply magnificent! _________________ Garfina

That's it so far. More to come. A trailer should come one day, too.
It was a pleasure to take photographs of this awsome guitar player and singer. He was uncharacteristically patient during the long hours of posing for the camera. |
Paya, these are astounding!! |

*dusts off thread*
I do have two new Stargate pictures for you. However, these are just part of a bigger story from a different fandom. If you don't mind and want to see the whole story and what's it all about, please follow the links to my Livejournal. If you do you will see figures from "Torchwood", "X-Files", "Superman/Batman/Terminator" and "Doctor Who".
Part 1/2: A mysterious book
Part 2/2:The book gets read throughout the Universe
Here are the two Stargate pictures - notice the picture frame in the background of Jack's office, this got made by Fandango:
Stargate-Center, Cheyenne Mountain, Colorado Springs, Colorado:
Major Samantha Carter, Dr. Daniel Jackson and Teal'c are ready for their mission to planet P3X-877. But their leader is still missing.
"Colonel O'Neill, where are you?"
"...Colonel?!?"
"...Jack?!?"
"...O'Neill?!?"
But Jack O'Neill is reading a book.

Awww Astra, fun as always!
To be honest, I have been thinking about you this past week, wondering how you were doing.
And missing the fun!
That is one tiny airplane on his desk! I can't quite make out the title of the book...but it looks like it migh be comics to me!
I would love to follow you links and check out the stories, but it will have to wait for later in the day. Right now, I need to get ready for the dentist (oh, joy). |

Thank you Fandango!
After your first message, I did write an e-mail to you, answering all your questions (didn't want to go too much off topic here) but I just saw that it never got delivered. I will write a PM instead. _________________ Funny pictures with Stargate actionfigures at http://dieastra.livejournal.com

Memories, memories
Hard to believe it's been two years since Jack visited... Stonehenge?
No, Vancouver!
He started with a little motorbike tour through Downtown...
Then he stopped by in Gastown. Experts will sure recognize this shot.
Jack was staying in a cheap hotel where coincidentally some strange event with that guy Whatshisname took place at the same time.
Jack posing outside the hotel. You may recognize another special location behind him.
To be continued. This was just the beginning. |
