Made a thermite torch using a magnesium bicycle, iron rust, and a highway emergency flare

Used a spare airplane part as a "lateral cranial impact enhancer"

Made smoke bombs from fertilizer, upholstery batting, starting fluid, newspaper, duct tape, & matches

Used a fire hose to fight off pursuing vehicles

Used part of a meat hook as a screwdriver

Forced open a lock by melting ice with a lightbulb & sending the water down a metal rod & cardboard to refreeze & expand inside the lock

Forced open a door with a side of beef

Used a remote controlled airplane to deliver another smoke bomb soaked in olive oil

Used a rope to trip and tackle the thief

Prevented an airplane from taking off by riding the rudder

NOTES OF INTEREST

• As the sixth episode to be filmed, this was the first episode to be filmed without an opening gambit.
• The character of Dave was listed in the TV Guide as Dave Redding, but his last name was never mentioned in the episode.
• MacGyver is not able to fly a helicopter.
• The scar on MacGyver's chin is particularly visible in this episode.
