NOTES OF INTEREST

  • This is the second episode directed by Alan Smithee, a pseudonym used when a director does not want to be credited for the work.
  • The 7th episode filmed, this was the first to air without an Opening Gambit.
  • The character of Sims was credited as David, but referred to in the episode as Daniel.
  • Michael F. Kelly (the role of Thomas) was also a stand-in for Richard Dean Anderson.
  • The license plate of the little red car is T-597S3.
  • MacGyver drinks a non-alcoholic Virgin Mary. Later he takes a swallow of wine to adjust the pitch of the goblet, but he doesn't seem to enjoy it.
  • As the car parachutes down from the plane, MacGyver adjusts the rear view mirror.
