They are having to answer questions about their recent mission (the one in the episode Upgrades)....and the memories are still fresh..









Unfortunately both Sam and Jack test positive to being Zatarcs.

Anise pays Jack a visit.....an interesting visit....

Jack and Sam are given options for their Zatarc situations....

Jack is on his way to have the experimental treatment after saying that should his treatment prove fatal, maybe his situation could help Sam....Jack: "Her brain is worth a lot more than mine...."

But Sam is not ready to give up just yet.....she remembers more from that mission...







Sam gets Jack's experimental treatment stopped just in time...

Sam reminds Jack of what all happened on that mission and WHY it happened the way it did...... In essence, Sam says to Jack - "Sir, you remember when you wouldn't leave me.....it's about our feelings that we can't speak of given our military ranks and relationship....." Jack responds, "Oh, that."



Sam asks for Jack to be retested...requestioned...and he is....and he remembers more....

The pictures tell the story - but when Jack is asked about why he didn't leave Sam.....it was, he said, because "I'd have rather died myself than lose Sam....because I care about her a lot more than I'm supposed to...."





The retest proves Jack is not a Zatarc - he is now telling the full truth about that mission's events and his feelings about those events.....




Sam is retested too and she is also shown to be not a Zatarc....



And they agree to keep this unspoken "situation" quiet....no one needs to know (except for the people in that room when they said what they said....)

But the problem of who IS a Zatarc still exists....








That problem is taken care of.....and the officials who were supposed to be meeting together live on......while Sam mourns the loss of Martouf....and Jack seems to wonder about that loss....or does he?

Thank you once again B for your nice work. Wow, two episodes in a row, that was great. And both episodes are fantastic, some of the greatest of the show. And we really love your narration. I think it helps getting a little more into the story.
