Jack can no longer speak in English to his friends at the SGC..... leaving him only a computer to be able to communicate to them with...









Now Sam is in trouble - but they decide not to tell Jack (yet)....he has enough going on....



Such as finishing building his mystery machine....

They finally tell Jack about Sam's dilemma



And he works on and produces a solution...





The solution works - Sam gets back to home base....safely.

Jack has finished the mystery machine and plugs it into the main power source of the Stargate ....



Evidently this machine is giving the Stargate the extra power it needs to get Jack to the place of the solution and answers for his problem...and Jack is ready to go there.



The ever loyal Teal'c is ready to accompany Jack on this trip - but Jack can only do this alone....but cannot speak those words to Teal'c - they are communicated in other ways....



Daniel tells Jack that if he goes, he may not be able to come back...

But Jack goes anyway - and is "thrown" into the "Stargate doorway" to this strange planet...



Where he meets some, um, unusual "people"....

But these "people" have help for Jack - even if it doesn't seem to be good at first....it is! The Ancients' knowledge and language are removed from his brain.....









Jack is grateful...and finds out this race of "people" (we later learn are the Asgards) has a good evaluation based on Jack's dealings with the advanced language and knowledge....that Jack has shown the human race is well on its way to becoming, along with the other ancient races, THE FIFTH RACE.

Jack: I'm sure you all are fine "people"...but you folks should know - we are a very curious race...and we are already "out there...."



Jack returns, healed, to the SGC....





Jack to Daniel and the others: You know that future stuff.....I think we are going to be fine.....(not an exact quote).....THE END
