Re: Stargate Figures in Action
Astra and Lis - all your figures are fantastic. Thanks for the effort and for posting the pictures.

Lovely Lis! I had no idea that new stuff was still coming out.
And here are the rest of the pictures, with the gift my Jack got for Christmas! I paid 139 bucks for that, without shipping. But so well worth it. I mean, if we compare it with my first attempt! This was a GI Joe uniform:
Yeah, these are much better.

Nice gift for Jack and for us too.
Thanks Astra.
Re: Stargate Figures in Action
Hi Astra, I don't know either. A friend of my daughter told me that he has seen it.
Re: Stargate Figures in Action
Oh-oh! This is the newest look in my glass vitrine. Not sure that will end well.
For explanation: This stone figure is called "Weeping Angel" and is from the "Doctor Who" universe. You think they are stone but they can move - as long as nobody looks at them. The tag line goes "Don't blink. Blink and you're dead". See the difference between the first picture and the second? "Blink" is one of the best and scariest Doctor Who episodes ever. It's also the reason why fans, when visiting London and seeing all those stone statues at all the buildings, are always on the lookout if they move.
And now the Weeping Angel is after Jack and Daniel (the reason is that this was the only space where I could put it after I received it today)

Re: Stargate Figures in Action
Hiya Astra! Nice arrangement. The Weeping Angel looks quite scary. Poor guys. I wonder how it ended. Do you have any conclusion up in your sleeve?
Re: Stargate Figures in Action
Hi Paja, thanks! I haven't shot a conclusion yet, but someone gave me an idea in a feedback. She said, the spike worm with its goggly eyes should watch the angel. I may do that one day, but as usual I am swamped with ideas and have so much to post (with various fandoms, I just added another one, as if I didn't have enough fandoms to juggle already *sigh* - see pictures)Paja wrote:Hiya Astra! Three guesses which movie I watched yesterday? In case you don't know - have a look around the internet. Zoo keepers from all over the world are re-creating this pose of Chris Pratt. I love all the animals, be it camels, penguins or walrusses. So I wanted to add my own version with gorillas!
Others wanted to take a turn as well so Jack lent out his vest.
I must say, it fits Oliver Queen (from "Arrow") very nicely, showing off his muscles, and he can pose much better than Jack because he has much more joints and is more flexible:
This is Jack Harkness from "Torchwood":
Sadly it is a bit big for him, he needs to grow!
But the best pose of them all has (newly arrived) James T. Kirk (from "Star Trek"), as he already came in exactly that pose and I did not have to fiddle at all!
Which is your favourite?
I just realized, I also have a Jack Bauer (24") figure in exactly that pose... (with a weapon though)
