There are more photos of RDA with this spider and RDA is visibly enjoying it. Is the spider alive? Is the spider just a movie prop? I don't know ...
I did not find a scene with this spider in any episode of SG-1 season 7. Maybe the RDA just played with the spider in his spare time. I don't know ...

The spider appeared during the filming (I believe as an uninvited guest) for the episode "Evolution"

Yes correct.

"Evolution" is written in the description of the image. In the episode Stargate S07E11 "Evolution" the spider does not play.
The venomous spider did not have to be alive. Artificial plush tarantulas and similar vermin are sold on the Internet.
