KATE - CAN YOU DOUBLE CHECK THE P.O. BOX NUMBER? I HAVE IT AS: P.O. BOX 6524. IS THAT CORRECT?
I already answered your PM. Yes, the address is correct.

Sending a card.....

Post by thescifichic »

I really enjoyed the opportunity of sending a card to RDA. Thank you Kate for giving us the opportunity to do this. Apologies if you have now as a result been inundated with people asking if you maybe got their card?

I'll admit I'm nervous myself. You see Australia Post 🇦🇺 is really helpful *O'neill sarcasm* Due to the Christmas backlog of mail here, I was worried my card would not make it in time. Aus Post only had an option of sending an international express item in a cardboard A4 size envelope.

The one of you just want to track something is also A4 or one that was smaller than my card.. .thus my dilemma. After spending the next while trying to haggle other options out of the poor lady at the post office, I reluctantly and nervously handed over the letter to be sent air freight as normal post.

I work in a an office and being a creative person at heart and also a scrap booker, I could not help myself and sorry Kate, I know you said no gifts... So the card is a gift lol. I really enjoyed making it and my creative and warped sense of humor came out in it as a result.

I know as advised RDA does not come into the forum so I figure a few drop box links of my creations cannot hurt to be shared.. Thank goodness lol.

My friends thinks it's really sad and funny. I did hesitate in sending it. It was all just down out of admiration and excitement.

I keep on getting asked at work if he got it with lots of snickering and I just tell them.. I'll never know lol.

My hash tags on my FB which is a glimpse into my funny journey of making this and sending it is funny.

I hope you all have had fun with your project for the guest book. I think it's really cool. I decided not to participate as I'm still worn out from sending that card lol.

Take care!
