Very descriptive selfie. I really hate having sniffles. Feel better soon!
And thank you, Kate, for all that you do.

So sorry you are under the weather, Rick, as your inventive selfie shows....
Hoping you will feel better real soon.
Chicken soup is good for what ails you!

Yes Rick,
Lot's of 'chicken soup' with hot sauce, or 'hot sour soup',
warm socks,
chest rubs with Vicks,
lot's of rest,
snuggle with pup & yes,
stay away from 'brown widow spiders!'

Love the new selfie but sorry you don't feel well. Are you implying that you have half of a head cold? Hey. that means that you'll get well sooner! Ever optimistically, Wendy.

Re: Rick’s Spider
My friend Hugh says his first thought about the spider was Araneus but he doesn’t believe it is diadematus because of the body shape. He apologized for not having more, but will do so very soon. Right now he, his wife, and baby girl are all down with colds. (They’re on the east coast, so I’m sure they weren’t camping in the backyard with Rick )

Re: Thank you, Kate
Thanks, GWhite, for that information.
Sorry your friend's family members are down with colds.....the weather has been very cold and, in some areas, snowy. Hope they haven't been out in that cold weather.
Could you ask your friend does he think this spider's bite is poisonous in any way?
THANKS.
