That scene was in the original TV broadcast. I have the original VHS tapes I recorded when the show first aired. And those tapes are what I used when I made up the MacGyver Quiz - long before any DVDs were available.

Kate
So they DO swindle us...
Thanks Kate for the answer :)
I think my dvds will work for now, and I'll buy the bluray when all the seasons are done and they will sell a complete box :D
But I can't wait to see new additions to the Lexicon! And don't hesitate to ask for help if you need any, Kate! ;)

For "swindle".... yeah, can say that because the episode 3 in the DVD is just 43"45 although the others episodes are about 46" or 48".

Actually, I watch again all Macgyver and I can be notice so many difference between the original text and the french text.... Well, I understand better english than I was teen... But sometimes the translation was so "funny"... For example, exactly in episode 5 season 1, in casino, the waitress gave to Macgyver a "virgin Mary".... which becomes ... a bloody mary for the french...
Or in the episode 1, when Colson said to Mac "You must be the screwball", which becomes "vous êtes le petit kamikaze"...so ..."the little kamikaze"..

etc
etc
etc

And yeah, of course, Kate if you need help, don't hesitate.
