I hope this is okay to share here, but I found this on the MacGyverOnline website and I thought it was worth posting here, too. It's a brief interview from Vin Di Bona, one of the people involved with MacGyver. He talks a little bit how RDA got the role beyond the famous glasses moment (basically all they had to do was look at him to make their casting decision), and some of the elements involved in making the show. My favorite part was how he described it as a big show with small moments, something I agree with and why I think the show has such quality, even after all these years.
Enjoy!
