Hope this is okay to post here, because I wasn't sure where else unless we start a thread like, "what's really happening in this scene". For now, I'll throw it here.

Anyway, speaking of It's Good to be King, this scene always makes me smile. It's when Jack is trying to convince Harry to tell the truth that he's not a prophet. Harry's wives walk past Jack and one of them looks him up and down and kinda leers at him. Jack is taken off guard and it almost makes me think that it was totally unscripted and one of the other women said to her, "I dare you to flirt with RDA and see what happens". If you watch closely, the other wives are also smiling when they're looking at each other. Then all the women laugh as if she was successful with the dare.

I had never noticed "the looks" that Jack gave the young lady - and/or the look she gave him back....and your synopsis of what really happened here is sooooooooooooooooooooo good! And, yes, that makes me laugh and smile too! LOVE IT! This is just fantastic. Thanks for posting!

I looked at these two screencaps again and can't stop laughing! RDA giving that kind of attention to the wife of Maybourne (the King) is just priceless....and don't you know the "wife" was thrilled for him to give her that KIND of attention....the "big star" taking notice of HER! No wonder all the other wives were giggling.....with glee! Like I am....

Now I am going to have to watch that episode tonight to see this "live"......ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS!....can you tell?

It reminds me of the episode (don't remember the name of it) - I think it's when Ishta and her people come onto the SGC with horses and all -(it may be the episode about Drya'c's wedding to Ishta's daughter..... and Jack turns around to look at one of the women in the troupe....and Sam sees him look at this woman and turns him back around facing forward. If you know what I am referring to and can come up with THAT screenshot too, that would be, um, nice.....

Thank you B for another wonderful screencap episode. Jack was so funny at some moments, like when he was trying to decide which brand of potatoes they should use at the messhall, or when he was trying to avoid Daniel's question about his injury, or whether he should find a new forth member for the SG-1 team or simply remain with three people. And he looked so satisfied and relieved when Sam told him that there's no regulation about an SG-1 team that has to be consisted of four people. And also a great performance when he was possessed by Anubis, and he looked so evil. Great episode, and I love him as a commander of the base, with always hard decisions to make. But he's lucky he has his friends around, and former fellow members, to ask for their advices on a difficult situation. And I also love his mischievous, playful look in his eyes, when he's struggling to make a decision, and asks for help, and looks like he's saying "Oh God, this is too much for me, I don't need to deal with these stuff". One of the disadvantages of being the base commander. LOVE HIM again and again. Thanks B for posting.

And regarding the photos that mac_jack_fangirl posted, from "It's good to be King", by the way great scene, the way Jack looks at that woman. He's so funny, but so adorable. So, you asked for that other scene where Jack has that same attitude. It is from the episode "Sacrifices", season 8, and while he's walking in the hallway with Sam, he can't help not to look at a woman that passes in front of him, while Sam notices and tries to bring him back forward. Have a look at his adorable, cutest look ever. I believe this is the scene you're referring to.

YES, Nicole, that is exactly the scene I was talking about! I LOVE that scene also as well as the one from It's Good to Be King. In this scene it is like Sam is just saying - "there you go again, looking at beautiful women - stop it!"

And I agree with all your comments about the other screencap episode - LOCKDOWN!

Yes, Jack (RDA) is so funny in many parts of this episode....and adorable throughout it. I thought his "evil look" when he was possessed by Anubis was terrific! HE IS SOOOOO GOOD with just his "looks" or his "expressions" that get across his message without even saying a word!

I had forgotten about that sequence, mac_jack_fangirl - re: Jack and Ishta! Yes, Teal'c is not amused. Jack is, I guess you could say, infatuated momentarily....

And then of course there are the FAMOUS scenes in BRIEF CANDLE with Jack and Kyntia but before that with Jack and the ladies who escort him to the bench...and he says, "Hello, Girls!" Then of course there are the scenes with Jack and Kyntia in bed....ah, uh, can't miss the implications of that .....I guess we can just say, Jack is a true ladies' man!

Thinking about the scenes from Brief Candle made me want to SEE those scenes again - so here is a somewhat....brief.....group of screenshots from that episode - starting when Jack is having a bite of the "marriage" cake and continuing on through the next morning....I guess I am just in that kind of mood - to see Jack in some romantic, um, behavior....even if it is with Kyntia and not with Sam. Jack looks pretty good in these scenes too.....
