I wish RDA a good convention in Baltimore coming soon ,hoping his flight will be safe (considering the catastrophe(s) that occurred in the past ).I hope he'll enjoy it there too. And if we can get any news/photos/videos or even tweets from him ,one can dream! that would be great.

Am glad you posted this thread! Was hoping someone would start a Shore Leave convention thread. YES - agree on all your good wishes for RDA to have good flights and a good convention! And dreaming with you that someone will post photos or videos of this event....

My account was recently activated, so what better way to introduce myself than this. My name is Matt. MacGyver is my favorite show of all time and I've wanted to meet RDA for a very long time. Oh, and I just happened to do that a few hours ago.
Photo op and panel tomorrow. I'll post more as the weekend goes by.

Looking at the Guest List besides RDA, Michael Welch, who played young Jack in SG-1's 7X03 "Fragile Balance" is at the convention this year. I wonder if they'll take some pics together or meet up in some way. Don't know if that's of any interest to anyone but I thought I'd mention it.

OH - nice picture - thanks again, Matt. So far have not been able to find your video on youtube. Maybe you could post a link here? Either way, Good Job!!! What was your photo op like with him? Did you get a chance to say a few words or was it too quick to say anything? Keep us posted on your events.
