My first (positive) reaction is that it's nice to see a woman director for a series with a woman as the lead.
My first (negative) reaction is that we have to pay for a subscription service to see ten 10-minute episodes. MGM says they want to give back to fans, but not without collecting our money first. Perhaps I'm being overly cynical, but TV Guide recently had a big article expressing the magazine's disappointment with the new Star Trek being available for a fee on CBS All Access.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see what the final details are. But, if it should be a access, maybe it will bring back a Stargate convention to Chicago.
