RDA at Phoenix Comic Con

Post by PamK1950 »

RDA is going to be at the Phoenix Comic Con June 5 - 8. I think someone should warn him how close he's going to be to the Dollie Momma

I think she's referring to herself. LOL! Am I right Pam? ^_^

If he ends up going to Dragon*Con this year, he's gonna have to be warned that I'm coming... MWAHAHAHAHA!!!

I am the Dollie Mama, because I make the little SG1 dollies for friends, but RDA has no need to fear. There is NO WAY I would go up to Phoenix (lovingly called "Hades" by us Tucsonans) in the summer for any reason. In fact, I avoid that city ANY time of year, even if they do have hockey.

Nope...staying in my cave, sewing away. I'll let Pam have fun with my "representatives" at these events. That's as close as I want to get :)

And he'll be going from a place that has and average high temperature of 70°F (21°C) to a place with an average high of 95°F (35°C). Don't envy him. :D

Awwwww!

Does that mean KatXander has been retired?

As much as I enjoy your cartoons and dollies, I love that name!

Unfortunately, considering that winter elected not to visit us this past season (what ever it was, it certainly was not "winter" for more than about 10 days!), June probably will resemble Hades in Phoenix. Let's hope for a "cool" spell!

Michelle

Woohoo!

Congratulations, Michelle!

Thinking.

Thinking.

Thinking.

I'm only about 20 miles or so away, the price of admission is very reasonable. When I saw the various events RDA attended last year, I made a mental note to see him if he came to Phoenix. Really did not expect him to do so! :o

Still thinking.

What does one do at these conventions?

Plop me down in the middle of a trade show--even if I have no knowledge of the industry--and I'll figure it out. Not so sure about a comiccon. Have to admit, though, that if I did nothing else, I probably could spend a good portion of a day gawking at the costumes and talking to their makers about them!
