Thanks for the translation of the article, Root. Someone else had sent me that link, and I had been working on the translation. Now I can compare it to yours.
Thank you to everyone who has been sending pictures, videos, and articles. There are literally hundreds, and I'm working on them as fast as I can (in the Updates section). For now, I'm basically posting everything as it comes in. Eventually I will (have to!) edit it a bit and choose the best for the final page.
I still have a couple hundred more to go...

Re: RICHARD DEAN ANDERSON IS RETURNING TO FRANCE
Thanks again for all the hard work and the wonderful updates that keep rolling in.
I like his comments about portraying an older MacGyver. I could actually see that working out quite well. He is the only one with the personality and charisma to pull that character off, in all honesty. The poor reception from most fans to the "new" MacGyver (including RDA's reaction), seem to point to the idea that when it lacks his unique and quirky presence, the show falls apart. He breathed life into the character, and it would be much more realistic to see a continuation of his character into the present day as an older (and maybe wiser? ) man.
It reminds me of the British mysteries and shows I've watched. Many of the characters are older, most are not supermodels (they're average-looking), and this does not detract from the quality of the shows at all. In fact, it adds dimension and quality to it, because it seems real. The characters are people that "regular Joes" can identify with. This ridiculous youth obsession we have in America needs to end to make way for more age diversity in Hollywood (and I say this as a younger person). I don't always want to see people my age on the screen. I want a variety of perspectives. With an older MacGyver, I think it could potentially attract a much broader audience than people might expect.
