The 10th Anniversary run/walk for QTF is being held on Sunday, October 16, 2016 in Woodley Avenue Park, Van Nuys, CA.

From the QTF website:

"Our celebrity guest and long-time Quench the Fire supporter, Richard Dean Anderson, star of "MacGyver" and "Stargate SG-1," will once again be at our event to kick-off the race, sign autographs and provide photo opportunities! With Mr. Anderson's presence and amazing support of our cause, Quench the Fire continues to grow! We are deeply grateful for his commitment to our cause."

PS: Keep in mind, there is always a slight chance that something could come up that would prevent RDA from attending. (Just saying)

I came to the site to see if there were any updates about RDA's appearance today at Quench the Fire, but it seems eerily quiet around here.

So, I was wondering...did anyone go? I guess posting updates takes a little time, and I should learn to be more patient. I was just curious--for those who went, how was it?

I was there. I have some pictures but I'm at the airport waiting for my flight. I may be able to get a few posted here and send the rest to Kate.

I was hoping to get all of my pictures "edited" but after a loooonnnnggggg afternoon/evening at LAX, my eyes couldn't quite focus (or stay open). Here are a few shots from QTF.

He was able to sign, but he did mention to someone that every once in a while it bothers him if he uses it too much.

The weather was nice. It was a little cool and overcast most of the morning. The sky cleared later on and it became quite warm.
