so what did i say? I think i said that Kate and Richard are buddies and they know each other... maybe my English is bad... or I am still bloody nervous...

Thank you Kate. Without your endless input, time and effort this website would not exist. None of us would have the tidbits of information to enable us to wholeheartedly follow the amazing man that is Richard Dean Anderson, the man who we all look up to and feel so close to but so far away.

Kate runs a very respectful website and in return asks only that we keep it simple, keep it clean, keep it fun, keep it non-personal for Rick's sake and most of all enjoy the website and each others company. What a small price to pay for all of the endless work that Kate does here for US.

Okay, now my 2 cents

I found this forum some years ago (the old one) and since then I enjoyed it every time I came here.
About 6 months I haven't written very much, but I kept visiting every now and then, never lost contact.
And since I'm back "fulltime", I don't understand, how I could have survived these 6 months, it's like coming back to your family. I love our favourite man, I love the people here, and I love to talk with all of you.
Some years ago I joined a Stargate-group on facebook (... and some RDA-Groups too ) and there was an admin who never cared for the copyright of the pics or even the gossip, she was posting. There were some serious discussions (and not only with me, I guess) and suddenly I found myself as admin for that group. Since then I take care, that there are no false news and that try to write, where their pics were found and care about the copyright. There are many pictures where noone can find a source, but the private pictures should remain under copyright. And I don't like false gossip.
The same with the RDA-groups, I try to remind them every time, that the news came from here or if they are false I'll tell them. There was even a group, the admin let the members believe, the news came directly from Rick! Again - serious discussions

I will always defend Rick's privacy and his good name.
And where can you be sure to get absolutely the right information? HERE! On Kate's wonderful site!

I'd like to share my thought about something who hurts me.
What do you think about this?

When Richard offers his selfies on the forum, I think they're really just for fans who come in this website.
They haven't to end up on social networks. Pictures during Christmas'time, from Richard on his bed filled of our cards, Richard with Wylie; as well Richard and Wylie at Theater last year for his Birthday.
I was a little shocked and sad to find them anywhere else.

I think these photos have to remain on this website, respectfully ; they're his correspondence with us.
The first respect we owe him, is his confidence with his little messages for us.

My goal is not to make controversy, but what do you think about this?

I agree with you Frenchwriter! I think the pics should stay here where they belong.. And if people want to share, they should ask Kate's permission first..

So I see that as well.
I would never do that.I think it's not good either.
But that's just my opinion.
