I got this in the mail. Does anybody know what Sea Shepherd is doing wrt this? Is Rick involved? I know he said in New Zealand that he was hoping to get medical clearance to go on a campaign.

I don't think Sea Shepherd is involved with the first links - if they were they'd been named in the petition, but saving whales and going against the whale hunt is always a good thing so, thank you for sharing.
Oh, it'd be cool if RDA would be cleared to go on a campaign! There are land campaigns too, so maybe he could do that some day. There are lots of campaigns going on atm. I would LOVE to join one, but my budget won't allow me go and I'd not be medically cleared to go on a ship. But the land campaigns sound great too. If I had the time and the money I'd go to Finland to protect seals or to Costa Rica to protect sea turtles. I've been toying with going to the Faroe Islands, but even that is out of reach for me atm. But I've done a local beach clean up in my area, which was great, too.
